I also ran to Albertsons today. I did a lot better there than I did at Wal-Mart. I bought everything pictured below, and spent...
$7.44, and I saved $76.48 (over 90%!!)
In order for me to do this, I did two separate transactions. Remember, Albertsons will double/triple coupons, but they will only do this on 4 of the exact same coupons, since I had more than 4 Steamfresh coupons, I had to do two different transactions. Also, they will accept Register Rewards or Extra Care Bucks (but only one per transaction). I had 2 different Extra Care Bucks (one $10.00 and one $2.00). In order for me to use both of them, I had to do two different transactions.
Here's how I did it:
Transaction #1:
4 bags of Steamfresh Vegetables $1.00 each (regularly priced at $1.99)
-used 4 coupons for $0.50 off Steamfresh Vegetables (found in 5/2 SmartSource insert) (these were all doubled)
Final Price: FREE!!
2 bags of Wacky Mac Pasta $1.49 each
-used 2 coupons for $0.50 off Wacky Mac Pasta (found here) (these were both doubled)
Final Price: $0.98 (or $0.49 each)
1 bag of Baby Carrots $1.00 (regularly priced at $1.99)
4 Hormel Pork Roasts $3.99 each (regularly priced at $9.99)
-used 4 coupons for $1.00 off Hormel Always Tender product (found in 5/2 SmartSource insert)
Final Price: $11.96 (or $2.99 each)
Plus I used a $10.00 Extra Care Buck
Final Price for Transaction #1: $3.94
Transaction #2:
4 bags of Steamfresh Vegetables $1.00 each (regularly priced at $1.99)
-used 4 coupons for $0.50 off Steamfresh Vegetables (found in 5/2 SmartSource insert)
Final Price: FREE!!
5 bags of Skinner Pasta $0.75 each (regularly priced at $1.39)
-used in ad coupon to make Skinner pasta $0.50 each when you buy 5
Final Price: $2.50 (or $0.50 each)
6 cans of Wolf Chili $1.00 each (regularly priced at $2.19)
-used 3 coupons for $0.50 off 2 Wolf Chili (found in 3/28 SmartSource insert)(these were all doubled)
Final Price: $3.00 (or $0.50 each)
2 bottles of Tabasco Sauce $1.00 each (regularly priced at $1.59)
-used 2 coupons for $0.50 off Tabasco Sauce (found here) (these were both doubled)
Final Price: FREE!!
Plus I used a $2.00 Extra Care Buck.
Final Price for Transaction #2: $3.50
My final cost for everything was $7.44. Coupons really do work if you wait and match them up with sale prices!! How are you guys doing on your shopping trips this week?

Just printed out the coupon for Tabasco sauce! You know I can't resist that with Brian around. Thanks, sweet friend!
