I know that I haven't been writing as many posts the past few weeks as I normally do, but my parents and one of my sisters came into town. Tonight my other sister and her family will be driving in from Arkansas, so I'll be away from the computer for a while. We are planning on spending several days at the lake, and then a couple of days at San Antonio. My parents and my youngest sister live in China, so we are only able to get together about once a year. I'll be taking this next week off to spend time with them and make some memories. Hope all of you have a WONDERFUL week and are able to snag some GREAT deals while I'm away!! I'll be back posting deals in about a week. Have a wonderful summer!!

Did you receive the coupon for $0.75 off Suave deodorant in the 7/11 RedPlum insert? The last time I checked, Wal-Mart and Target had the full sized Suave deodorant priced at $0.97. Also, this coupon showed up twice on my computer, so if that is the case for you, you should be able to print this coupon out a total of FOUR times. Home Made Simple Coupon Book
Have you requested the Home Made Simple Coupon Book before? This booklet is full of GREAT coupons!! (My favorite is the coupon for $1.00 off Dawn Hand Renewal...FREE Dawn when it goes on sale!!) This coupon booklet is available again!! Go here if you are interested in this booklet...I would HIGHLY recommend that you sign up for it!!
Thanks Mojo Savings!!
Target Coupons!!
I was just searching to see if Target had released any new coupons on their website, and was pleasantly surprised to find some GREAT coupons for clothes!! Target had some of these same coupons available several months ago, and I was able to get some very inexpensive items...even some that were FREE. Last time these were available, they went quickly, so if you are interested in any of these go here!! (To find these coupons quickly click on the Apparel Category).
The coupons that are available are:
$2.00 off Women's Plus Apparel Item
$1.00 off Hanes Apparel Item
$5.00 off C9 by Champion Apparel
$3.00 off Merona Men's Top
$3.00 off Merona Handbag
These might not seem like high value coupons, but remember that Target seems to ALWAYS have items on clearance...I've seen shirts go on clearance for less than $2.00...so go look around. Think creatively too, look for Christmas gifts for friends/family. Socks are considered apparel, so the coupon for $5.00 off C9 Champion Apparel should get you a GREAT deal if you need new socks. I've also seen their fitness shorts and tops go on clearance a lot!! Let me know if you find any GREAT deals!!

FREE Flashlight!!
I am just now looking through all the ads that came with the Sunday newspaper, and wanted to point out one that I'm sure a lot of you missed. I usually save the Walgreens, CVS, and Target ads and throw the rest of them out without even looking at them, but I found a GREAT deal in one of the other ads!!
Harbor Freight Tools has a coupon on the front page of their ad for a FREE 3 1/2 inch Super Bright Nine LED Aluminum Flashlight. The coupon says NO PURCHASE REQUIRED. That means that you should be able to take the coupon into the store, grab a flashlight, go through the checkout line and pay absolutely NOTHING.
I don't know about your kids, but my boys think that it's great to play with flashlights when they go to sleep at night. I've never been to Harbor Freight Tools, but I'm thinking that I might go there to take advantage of this deal. I might put this flashlight back for a stocking stuffer at Christmas. It's never too early to start Christmas shopping!!

Coupon for Red Barn By the Slice Pizza
There is a high value coupon available at smartsource.com for $2.00 off Red Baron By the Slice Pizza. I have to say that I am usually not a fan of pizza that has been microwaved, but I tried this pizza a couple of weeks ago, and was very surprised at how good it was.
These are supposed to be priced at $2.50 at Target, so after coupon you'll only pay $0.50!! I have not had a chance to price these at the Target in San Angelo to confirm that they are priced at $2.50 here. I do know that the last time I was at Wal-Mart, they were priced around $2.98, so $0.98 after coupon...still a GREAT deal!!
Go here if you are interested in printing this coupon. This is a VERY high value coupon for pizza, so I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches the print limit quickly, so hurry if you are interested.
There was also a "Try me Free" Mail in Rebate for this product in the 4/25 SmartSource insert. If you saved this rebate, you can submit for it and make a little money back on this pizza as well. Pay $0.50 for pizza at Target, but then send in for the rebate and get reimbursed $2.50..a nice $2.00 money maker!!
Thanks My Frugal Adventures!!
A Note about CVS and Walgreens
When I do the CVS and Walgreens Ad Match Ups, I try to calculate how much you will spend after coupons on each deal and how many Extra Care Bucks or Register Rewards you will receive from each deal.
If you are buying something that will cost $4.00 and you will also receive a $4.00 Register Reward when you purchase the product, many coupon sites will say that you get the product for FREE! I believe that this is a little misleading...you will still pay $4.00 out of pocket, and then be given a $4.00 Register Reward that can be used on your next purchase...it is not free since you are out the initial $4.00. Now, if you have Register Rewards left over from previous weeks, you might be able to lower your out of pocket expenses even further, but for those of you starting out you will have to pay that initial cost.
I was talking to someone the other day who is new to coupon shopping. After her CVS shopping trip, she mentioned that she definitely had to pay money to shop there. Yes, you receive incentives back from CVS and Walgreens, but if you are just starting out, you will not get items FREE...you'll still have to pay for them, but you will get ECBS or RRs back. Once you learn how to effectively pay for deals with the ECBs and RRs that you have previously earned, you'll be able to buy items for pennies, but it does take some time!!

CVS Ad/Coupon Match Up (July 11 - 17)
Again, I haven't had time to sit down and do my own coupon match up for this week's CVS ad, but Liza at Addicted To Saving does a GREAT job of matching up coupons with the weekly Extra Care Buck Deals!! Go here if you are interested in seeing this week's sale items.
This week there are a couple of Extra Care Buck deals that are only good through today, so if you are interested in them you'll need to make a run sometime today!!
Thanks Addicted to Saving!!
Walgreens Ad/Coupon Match Up (July 11 - 17)
I know that this is a couple of days late, but still wanted to post this since I know that there are probably some new coupon shoppers who are reading this who might need some help figuring out Walgreens Register Reward Deals. I mentioned earlier that I have been really busy lately, so I haven't had time to write up my own match ups. Liza at Addicted to Saving does a great job matching coupons with Register Reward deals. You can go here to read her complete match up and find any deals that you might want to do this week. To be honest, it looks like a slow week at Walgreens, but you can still find some deals!
Thanks Addicted to Saving!!
The month of July has been, and will continue to be, a crazy month for us. My parents and one of my sisters is coming in town to visit today, and they'll be staying for a week and a half. On Friday my other sister and her family will be driving down to visit and staying for about a week.
My husband and I are also in charge of getting Kids Church up and ready for our church. We are just getting ready to start a new series, which means a lot of preparation...studying the new curriculum, making phone calls to get volunteers lined up, getting sets made and painted, getting practices set up...fun work, but work that takes quite a bit of time.
I'm sure you've noticed that my number of posts has been down a bit the last few days, so sorry about that, but I seriously haven't had much time to sit down at the computer. I had several deals that I wanted to take advantage of this last week at CVS and Walgreens, and I didn't even make it out to the stores. We have been living off of our food stockpile since I haven't had the time to make a list and run to the grocery store...I'm hoping to get to the store later today or tomorrow! :)
I'll try to get some over due posts up later today, but wanted you all to know that I haven't forgotten about posting deals...I've just been super busy working on other things. Hope all of you are having a GREAT summer...can you believe that it is already half over?
