-if you have 1 Bayer aspirin coupon from the paper and 1 in ad coupon, it will look like this:

Search & Win
I'm heading up to my older boys' school to volunteer this morning/early afternoon, but I'll try to have some new posts up by this afternoon. Hope all of you are enjoying this weather...I have some windows open and we're enjoying watching/listening to the rain. You can tell that the kids aren't used to it...they might be as excited about all the rain coming down as they were about the snow earlier this year. :)

FREE French Fries at Jack In The Box

I saw a commercial advertising that Jack in the Box will be giving away FREE french fries...today only!! To be honest with you, I had no idea that San Angelo even had a Jack in the Box...it must be new, or I must be completley out of it. :) Anyway, I called them this morning to make sure that they were participating in this offer. The person that I talked to said they'd be giving away FREE french fries to each customer...NO OTHER PURCHASE NECESSARY!! I specifically asked him if a whole family came in, would each family member be able to get FREE french fries, and he said they'd give one per person!! So, if you are over there today, swing by and grab some french fries...I love hot, salty french fries...but I'm sure that they'll taste even better when they're FREE!!

Another Deal at Albertsons

I found another deal at Albertsons this week. I posted about the Nabisco Snak Saks that are on sale for $1.00 in my earlier post. (If you want to read more about this week's Albertsons ad/coupon match up go here). I found a way to make this deal even sweeter. There are coupons available for $1.00 off 2 Nabisco Oreo or Chips Ahoy products if you become a fan on Facebook. To print this coupon off go here. This will make each of these bags of cookies $0.50!!

I like having these bags of cookies around for road trips or trips to the park...love that they are resealable. I usually don't buy these because they are normally marked up, but for $0.50 a bag I think that I'll be picking up a couple to put back for summer trips!!

Success Story!!

I got an email this morning from Kassie, telling me about her shopping trip!! Kassie isn't completely new to couponing, but she said that before she would only use coupons here or there. She made a trip to Wal-Mart to buy groceries and other items to last her family for 2 weeks. She ended up spending around $207 and saving $53.37!! That's a savings of a little over 20%!!

In my opinion, Wal-Mart is the hardest store to really see big savings at. They usually don't have great in store specials...buy x get y free, gift card promotions, register rewards, extra care bucks, etc...so saving over $50 in one shopping trip is really impressive!!

Great job Kassie!!

How are you doing saving money? Remember start small and do what you can...a savings of $5 a week adds up to $260 a year!! Keep on going and saving and you will be amazed at where you are a month from now, 3 months from now, or a year from now!! Good luck!

I really would love to hear how you guys are doing...let me know!

Coupons for Cheerios!

I know that when my boys were little, it seems like there was nothing they liked better than Cheerios!! You can go here to sign up to receive 4 $1 coupons for Cheerios. These coupons will be emailed to you over a period of time. They are also giving away 50,000 full sized boxes of Cheerios, so you might win one of those as well!!

Thanks A Thrifty Mom!

Reminder--FREE Coffee at Starbucks Today

Just a reminder that you can get a FREE cup of coffee at Starbucks today if you bring in a reusable mug. If I were a coffee drinker, it seems like today would be the sort of day where I'd curl up with a book, blanket, and a cup of coffee...but I'd rather curl up with a cold Dr. Pepper with lots of crushed ice (ice from Sonic to be exact. :)

Bed Bath and Beyond

I received an email from Kassie today telling me about shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond. She said that if you buy something at Bed Bath and Beyond, and then later get a coupon from them, that you can take the coupon (along with your receipt) up to the store and they will credit the coupon to you. I have never tried this, but I'm all about finding ways to save!!

Most of you probably already get Bed Bath and Beyond coupons/circulars mailed to you periodically, but you can also go here, and sign up for their emails (you can opt out of getting emails from them), and they will mail/email you coupons. I just signed up and I already received a coupon for 20% off any one item.

I have to admit that I don't shop there a whole lot, but my mom/grandma LOVE little handmade things from the kids (what moms don't:) I've purchased white plates/mugs that come with markers for my kids to decorate for Christmas/birthday gifts from BB&B. These are usually priced around $6.99...and with a 20% coupon, would make for a GREAT Mother's Day gift (which is right around the corner).

Thanks Kassie for the information about Bed Bath and Beyond!!

If any of you know of any great deals let me know. I'd love to help spread the info!!

Challenge Results (Week 2)

At the beginning of April I decided to really challenge myself to try to save more than ever...my goal is to save at least 50% on all my grocery shopping throughout the month. Our grocery budget includes all foods, medicines, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and going out to eat. Here's how I did this week:

Spent: $64.01

Saved: $277.17

That's a savings of about 81%!!

The reason that the spent is a little higher this week is because we went to Mr. Gatti's for supper one night...spent $17.95 there. We weren't planning on going, but my oldest son's cub scout den won "free meals" there...free meals, but he was only able to redeem the "free meal" if a paying adult came with him. What in the world is that? If you are going to give a child a free prize, make it free with no strings attached. That's just my two cents worth :)

How did you guys do this week? Start small and keep going!! Any amount of savings is better than no savings at all!!

Pecan Sandies Coupon

There's another great coupon available!! Go here to print a coupon for $1.00 off any 1 package of Pecan Sandies. (You can print this coupon off twice).

This week Walgreens has these cookies on sale for 2 for $5.00, AND there's a Walgreens' store coupon you can use to make this a SWEET deal!! In the Walgreens April coupon book there's a coupon for $2.00 off any 2 Keebler cookies or crackers. If you use this coupon along with 2 of the $1.00 off Pecan Sandies coupons from above, you'll be able to get 2 packages of cookies for $1.00...just $0.50 each!!

Thanks Couponing to Disney!

Another Swagbucks Code!!

Another code worth 8 Swagbucks is available until 7:00...sorry about the short notice, but I just found out about it myself. This one is a little trickier to find than the last one, but you should be able to get it. I can't tell you exactly where to go, but I'll be as clear as possible without giving it away. To get started go here. Read through this page real quick and click on the page it tells you that you should check out (towards the bottom of the page). Read through this page...you'll find a set of numbers/letters put together in a jumbled looking word...this is the code!! Copy this jumbled concoction of letters/numbers and paste it in the Gimme box on the Swagbucks homepage. Hope some of you are able to get this...remember you only need 450 Swagbucks to get a $5 Amazon gift card.

Muir Glen Coupon

There's a new coupon available for $1.00 off any Muir Glen product found here. Muir Glen specializes in organic products. Muir Glen tomato paste is around $0.98 at Wal-Mart (so FREE after coupon). There are also various other Muir Glen products...tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, spaghetti sauce. Remember that you should be able to print this coupon off twice!

Thanks Hip 2 Save!

More Muddy Children

Now to get the kids clean, floors swept/mopped, and bathtub cleaned before Matt gets home from work...oh yeah, and also need to get supper started. I think we need to allow our children to have the chance to truly be kids and get dirty every once in a while...if only they could help clean up too!! :)

The Muddy Culprits!!

And here's further proof of those who were responsible for the muddy footprints!

Another post that has absolutely NOTHING to do with coupons/sales/deals, but I just had to share!! My three boys asked if they could go outside to "watch" the rain. I let them outside while I stayed inside to straighten up and figure out our supper. A few minutes later, I came into the kitchen to find this...

This picture does not do it justice...there are muddy footprints from our laundry room through the kitchen into the dining room...thankfully they stopped right before the carpet. I just swept and mopped this morning...looks like I'll be pulling out the mop AGAIN!! Gotta love the kids...they keep life interesting, right?

Del Monte Vegetable Coupon!!

There is a great coupon available for $1.00 off any 4 Del Monte canned vegetables. Del Monte canned vegetables are supposed to be on sale at Target for $0.50 right now...with this coupon, you'd be able to get them for $0.25 each!! I've found that our Target does not keep a large stock of these on hand, so there's a good possibility that these won't be in stock. If you are heading to Target, I'd definitely check for these though. If you aren't able to find them, you could always ask for a rain check...or just save the coupon for another day (the ones I printed off don't expire until June 13...plenty of time for us to find another GREAT sale!!)
Go here if you are interested in printing this coupon. Also, this is a bricks coupon...with all bricks coupons you are allowed to print them off twice. Once you print it the first time, click the back button a couple of times (it will say web page expired, but keep hitting the back button). It will automatically reprint your coupon!! So if you can find them at Target you can get 8 cans of veggies for $2.00!! Definitely a GREAT stock up price!!

New Swag Bucks Code

If you have joined Swagbucks there is a code worth 5 Swagbucks out right now (it expires at 3:30). On the Swagbucks toolbar is a red square with a white envelope in it...click on it and the message inside should give you a code...copy this code and paste it into the "Gimme" box on the Swagbucks homepage...easy as that, get 5 extra Swagbucks to go towards earning prizes/gift cards!! Have I mentioned that I LOVE Swagbucks!!

For those of you who have not joined Swagbucks, it is a completely FREE way to earn points you can redeem for prizes/giftcards just by using the computer like you normally do. Simply sign up, put the Swagbucks toolbar on your homepage, and instead of typing in your normal web addresses, search them through the Swagbucks toolbar and every time you do, you'll have a chance to win Swagbucks that can be redeemed for prizes. I wrote a more detailed description of what Swagbucks is earlier, so if you want more information you can read the earlier post.

If you are interested in signing up (it is completely FREE and I've earned $70 in Amazon gift cards since starting in December) simply click on the banner below!!

Tuesday, April 13, 2010

I got this idea from Liza at Addicted to Saving and thought that I should share it with all of you. Every week she posts how her readers are doing saving money. I thought how awesome it would be if some of you could be featured on this blog. Some of you are probably couponing pros, and others are just starting out, but I think it would be awesome to see how others are doing. So, here's the challenge...when you go shopping, send me an email telling me what store you went to and how much you spent/saved. It would be great if you can send a picture as well, but not necessary. You don't need to break down coupons you've used or prices...just how much you've spent and how much you've saved. I think this would be a great encouragement for other readers...it doesn't matter if you've only saved a couple of dollars...if you are saving ANYTHING that's an improvement over where we all started!! I think once we all start seeing that other people are saving more and more with each trip they make, that it will encourage all of us to keep going and keep finding new ways to stretch our dollars!!

If you are interested in doing this, email me your saving/spending information at www.mljawingfield@yahoo.com. I REALLY hope some of you do, because I am so curious to know how you guys are doing!!

Albertsons Trip (April 13)

So, I mentioned that I went to CVS to get some Extra Care Bucks to use at Albertsons...YEA!! (Can you tell that I'm a bit excited that Albertsons is letting us use them!?!) Albertsons has some sales this week that I think have good stock up prices. I purchased everything pictured below and spent...

$15.27, and I saved $75.15!!

Here's how I did it:

5 boxes of Captain Crunch: normally priced at $3.99...on sale for $1.60
-used coupon for $3.00 off any 5 select Quaker products (found in this week's ad)
Final Cost: $5.00 (or $1.00 a box)

6 bottles of Kraft BBQ Sauce: normally priced at $1.79...on sale for $0.99
-used 3 coupons for $1.00 off 2 (found in the Albertsons Spring Essentials coupon ad...right by the front door by the weekly circulars)
Final Cost: $2.94 (or $0.49 each)

6 bottles of Juicy Juice: normally priced at $3.79...on sale for $1.49
-used 3 coupons for $1.00 off 2 (found in Albertsons Spring Essentials coupon ad)
Final Cost: $5.94 (or $0.99 each)

4 packages of Sargento shredded cheese: normally priced at $3.49...on sale for $2.50)
-used coupon from Albertsons ad to make each of them $1.50
AND
-used 2 coupons for $1.00 off Sargento cheese (found here...use zip code 01885)
-used 2 coupons for $0.75 off Sargento cheese (found here...use zip code 10101)
Final Cost: $2.50 (or around $0.63 each)

12 containers of Yoplait Yogurt: normally priced at $0.79...on sale for $0.40
-used coupon from Albertsons ad to make each of them $0.29
AND
-used 2 coupons for $0.50 off 6 Yoplait Yogurts (found here) These coupons were both doubled.
Final Cost: $1.48 (or around $0.12 each)

1 Gallon of milk: $3.58
-used coupon for FREE gallon of milk (from previous cereal/milk deal at Albertsons)
Final Cost: FREE

2 bags of Nabisco Chips Ahoy Cookies: normally priced at $3.99...on sale for $2.79
-used coupon for buy 1 gallon of milk and 1 Nabisco cookie, get 2nd Nabisco cookie FREE (this coupon is no longer available...but if you already printed it, it works GREAT with the FREE milk coupons!!)
Final Cost: $2.79 (around $1.40)

1 Reusable Shopping Bag: $1.99
-used coupon from Albertsons ad for FREE reusable shopping bag if you spend over $10.00
Final Cost: FREE

I also used a $4.50 Extra Care Buck

Final Price for Everything: $15.27 AND I saved $75.15...that's a savings of around 83%!!

Most of the coupons I used are available at Albertsons or online...so you should be able to do most of these deals as well!! Good Luck!

CVS Trip (April 13)

I didn't need anything at CVS this week, but I still decided to make a quick trip there so I could have some Extra Care Bucks to use at Albertsons!! I can't tell you how excited I am that they are letting us use Extra Care Bucks and Register Rewards there now...YEA ALBERTSONS!! Anyway, I bought everything pictured below and spent:

$1.60, and I received a $4.50 Extra Care Buck.

I was going in there just for the Body Wash, but when I swiped my CVS card under the price scan machine, two great coupons printed out...one for $1.00 off any CVS Brand paper products, and one for $1.00 off any CVS body product. I realized that I could use those coupons to get some FREE stuff!! (I've talked to a couple of other people who had these same coupons print out...so you might want to try it as well)

Dial NutriSkin Body Wash: $5.49
-use coupon for $1.00 off found here
Final Cost: $4.49 AND this generated a $4.50 ECB

2 CVS Single Rolls of Toilet Paper: on sale for 2 for $1.00
-used coupon that printed from price scan machine
Final Cost: FREE

1 Cocoa Butter Tube: $0.99
-used coupon that printed from price scan machine
Final Cost: FREE

I also used $3.00 in Extra Care Bucks that I had saved from last week. I paid $1.60 for everything and left with a $4.50 ECB!!

Side Note: Just because you think your family will not use something (that brand of toilet paper/cocoa butter) doesn't mean you shouldn't pick it up...if you get it FREE it is costing you absolutely NOTHING and it can be donated!!
My children go through cereal like CRAZY!! I was so happy yesterday morning when I realized that I didn't have to throw out a box of empty cereal...they go through about a box a day. I was thinking that maybe they were slowing down and I wouldn't have to buy so much...well, that brings me to this morning...when i found TWO empty boxes and one box that has a small handful of cereal left in it. I started thinking, if I really want to stock up on cereal...say 6 months worth...26 weeks...182 days...182 boxes of cereal. I think cereal might be something that I try to stock up on for only a couple of months at a time. :) Where in the world would I put that many boxes of cereal? Good thing our stores have been having some good cereal sales lately. The best places to find inexpensive cereal this week are:

Target: With their Special K Cereal gift card promotion. (this will run through Saturday)
5 boxes of cereal for $2.39 each (don't forget those coupons from the newspaper and online) and get a $5.00 gift card

Albertsons: Select cereals are on sale for $1.60, but with the manufacturer's coupon found in their ad...if you buy 5 you will get them for $1.00 a box. (This will run through today, but I have found that there are times that Albertsons will run these cereal deals for a couple of weeks in a row...just won't know until the new ad comes out tomorrow).

Your family might not go through cereal as quickly as we do, but if you find a good deal on cereal buy several boxes...that way you won't have to pay full price when you run out. I typically try to spend $1.00 or less on a box of cereal...and I NEVER go over $1.50! If you are just starting out and don't have many coupons, just do the best you can...if you stick with it, you'll get!!

Starbucks FREE Brewed Coffee on April 15

First of all, I am NOT a coffee drinker at all, so this deal does not appeal to me in the least...but I know a lot of people LOVE their coffee, so I thought I should go ahead and post this deal.

On April 15 you can get a FREE brewed coffee at Starbucks just by bringing in a reusable travel mug into any local Starbucks. I called our local Starbucks and the person I talked to assured me that they would be participating in this offer. So for all you coffee drinkers, enjoy!!

Can you believe that I've never even stepped foot inside of a Starbucks? :)

Thanks Getcha Coup On!

Jaime made a comment on one of my posts about this deal, and I thought I should share it with all of you. Along with the great coupon for FREE $5 Target gift card when you buy 3 Scrubbing Bubbles products in yesterday's paper, there was also a coupon for FREE $5 Target gift card when you buy Windex Outdoor All-in-One starter kit. There's a coupon for $2.50 off this Windex starter kit found here. I have to admit that I have no idea how much this costs at Target, but with the coupon and the $5 gift card, it could make for a pretty good deal.

Thanks for the heads up on this deal Jaime!!

If any of you come across some great deals while you are out shopping let me know, and I'll try to post some of the deals that you find.

Cereal Coupon to use with Target Deal!!

For those of you who are just starting out with coupons and don't have a coupon stash built up, I found a great site that has coupons that will work GREAT with this week's Target Special K cereal deal. The $2.00 off 2 coupons that I posted about using in my Target deal were coupons that I had from the newspaper, but I found them online. So for those of you who didn't buy the newspaper several weeks ago, you'll still be able to do this great deal!! Just go here to print the coupon off. I hope this works for you.

Swagbucks Birthday Gift

Okay, I know I posted about this previously, but I wanted to show you that it REALLY did work. We have a budget of $50.00 for our children's birthday presents. My oldest son had a Nintendo DS that broke several months ago. He has been so good about not complaining about it and has patiently waited to play his brother's DS. My husband and I decided to try to buy him a new DS for his birthday...and we were able to do it, for right around $50!! We just got it in the mail and wanted to show you that it is LEGITIMATE!!

This DS was originally $129.99...on sale at amazon.com for $119.99...we paid $55.00 out of pocket!! How? I've been earning Swagbucks while I'm searching on the Internet and I've been able to trade them in for Amazon gift cards...I had $65.00 in Amazon gift cards saved up, and I was able to use those to spend just $55.00 on a BRAND NEW Nintedo DS!!

Swagbucks is a search engine just like Google, Yahoo, Ask.com, but when you do searches, you have the opportunity to earn bucks which you can then trade in for different prizes...electronics, jewelry, I always save mine up and redeem them for gift cards. It is completely free and SO EASY!! If you are interested in signing up, just click below.

Search & Win

You will get 30 Swagbucks just for signing up...if you sign up don't forget to put the Swagbucks toolbar on your homepage. Instead of typing in web addresses that I want to go, I simply "search" them through the Swagbucks toolbar...example instead of typing in www.facebook.com, I simply type facebook into the Swagbucks search engine...I win anywhere from 20 to 50 Swagbucks a day doing this...the bucks add up fast and then you can trade them in for prizes!! Easy as that!! Good luck!!

SC Johnson $5.00 Rebate

I posted about the great Scrubbing Bubbles deal at Target this week, but I wanted you to know that you can make this deal even BETTER!! SC Johnson is offering a $5.00 rebate if you purchase any 3 participating SC Johnson products. These products include:

Ziploc
Glade
Windex
Scrubbing Bubbles
Pledge
Shout
Fantastik
Drano
Raid
Off
Saran
Nature's Source

All you need to do is buy 3 products listed above, and mail in your original receipt along with this rebate form found here. They will allow you to submit for this rebate 3 times per household. I've submitted for it twice already, and it's taken me about a month to receive the rebate. This really will make the Scrubbing Bubbles deal at Target into a nice little money maker. Here's the best scenario that I could come up with, let me know if you can come up with something better:

Buy 1 Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer Starter $7.99
-use $5.00 coupon off any Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer Starter (found in yesterday's newspaper)

Buy 1 Scrubbing Bubbles Refill $3.94
-use coupon for free refill when you buy starter kit found here

Buy 1 Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner $2.49
-use coupon for $0.75 off Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom cleaner

Use coupon for FREE $5.00 Target Gift Card when you buy 3 Scrubbing Bubbles Products.
ALSO Submit for the SC Johnson Rebate.

If you do this deal, you will pay $4.73 out of pocket AND receive a $5.00 gift card AND receive a $5.00 rebate check. That's a profit of $5.27!! If you want to submit for this, you do need to save you original receipt and you will be out the cost of a stamp...but still this one is definitely worth it!!

HEB Trip (April 12)

I also made a quick trip to HEB this morning. I didn't see any really great deals that would work for my family there this week, but we REALLY needed some more fruit (my boys ate the last of our fruit for breakfast), and I think the produce at HEB is some of the best in town. I bought everything pictured below and spent:

$11.41 (I know, not so great). Here's how I did it:

2 loaves of Nature's Own Honey Wheat Bread $2.38 each

Final Cost: $4.76

2 loaves of HEB Split Top Honey Wheat Bread $2.09 each
-used 2 HEB store coupons for buy Nature's Own Honey Wheat Bread, get HEB Split Top Honey Wheat Bread FREE (This deal does not expire until April 20)
Final Cost: FREE!!

3 packages of HEB Flour Tortillas (20 ct.) on sale for $0.95 each
-used 3 coupons for $0.75 off any HEB Tortillas (this was found in yesterday's newspaper...it is an HEB store coupon)
Final Cost: $0.60 (or $0.20 each)

Dole Bananas $0.44 a pound

3 lbs. of apples

Final Cost: $1.98

Bag of Cuties Mandarin Oranges $2.97
-used coupon for $0.55 off bag of Cuties (found in newspaper)
Final Cost: $2.42

1 lb. of Strawberries
Final Cost: $1.50

I spent $11.41 and saved $8.45 (savings of around 42%)...it really is more difficult to save big with fresh fruits/veggies, but if you start saving in your cleaning supplies, toiletries, pantry staples...you will have that extra money to go towards your produce.

Look through your coupons and see if you can do any of these deals...if you picked up the paper yesterday, you should be able to do all of these deals except for the oranges!! Doesn't matter how little/much you save the first time you try this...just start somewhere!!

Target Trip (April 12)

I made a quick trip to Target this morning to take advantage of some of the GREAT gift card promotions that they are running this week. I bought everything pictured below, and spent...

$10.79...AND I left the store with $10.00 in Target gift cards...if you factor in the gift cards, it's like I spent $0.79 on everything!! I broke my trip up into two different transactions to help lower my out of pocket expenses. Here's how I did it:

TRANSACTION #1:

8 Boxes of Benadryl Anti-Itch Cream Price Cut to $2.29 Each
($2.29 x 8 = $18.32)
-used 4 coupons for $5.00 off any 2 Benadryl, Zyrtec, Visine, Sudafed PE, or Tylenol Sinus (found in yesterday's newspaper) (4 x $5.00 = $20.00)
Final Cost: FREE (plus $1.68 in overage)

2 Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer Starters Price Cut to $7.99 Each
($7.99 x 2 = $15.98)
-used 2 coupons for $5.00 off any Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer Starter (found in yesterday's newspaper) (2 x $5.00 = $10.00)
Final Cost: $5.98 (or $2.99 each)

2 Scrubbing Bubbles Refills Price Cut to $3.94
($3.94 x 2 = $7.88)
-used 2 coupons for Buy Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer Starter, get Refill for free, found here
Final Cost: FREE

2 Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaners Price Cut to $2.49
($2.49 x 2 = $4.98)
-used 2 coupons for $0.75 off any Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner (found in previous week's newspaper) (2 x $0.75 = $1.50)
Final Cost: $3.48 (or $1.74 each)

PLUS I gave the cashier 2 coupons for FREE $5 Target gift card with the purchase of 3Scrubbing Bubbles products (excludes Toilet Gel and Automatic Shower Cleaner). This coupon was found in yesterday's newspaper

Final price for Transaction #1:
$7.78 PLUS I received 2 $5.00 gift cards!!

Transaction #2:

5 boxes of Special K Granola Cereal Price Cut to $2.39
(5 x $2.39 = $11.95)
-used 2 coupons for $2.00 off 2 boxes of Special K Granola Cereal, and used 1 coupon for $1.00 off 1 box of Special K Granola Cereal (found in newspaper)
Final Cost: $6.95 (or $1.39 per box)
This also generated a $5.00 gift card.

2 Gillette Fusion Razors Price Cut to $6.99
(2 x $6.99 = $13.98)
-used 2 coupons for $4.00 off any Gillette razor (found in last week's newspaper)
(2 x $4.00 = $8.00)
Final Cost: $5.98 (or $2.99 each)
This also generated a $5.00 gift card.

Final Price for Transaction #2:
$12.93 plus $0.08 in tax = $13.01
BUT I used the 2 $5.00 gift cards I earned in Transaction #1, so I only owed $3.01!! AND I got an additional $10.00 in Target Gift Cards for my next trip there!!

Overall I spent $10.79 and left with $10.00 in gift cards. The bottom of my receipts says that I saved $121.18...that seems a bit high to me, but I guess that is factoring in prices before all price cuts, gift card promotions and coupons. That's a savings of almost 92%!!

THIS DEAL IS NOT MENTIONED IN THE AD, but I thought I would pass it along. I don't know if you guys noticed the GREAT Target coupon in the SmartSource insert this morning. The coupon states:
