CVS Trip (April 4)

I just got back from a quick trip to CVS. Remember my goal is to spend less than $5.00 when I go there. I bought everything pictured below, and spent...

$4.35. Here's how I did it:

I started out with a coupon from CVS for $5.00 off any $25.00 purchase. (CVS will periodically email coupons to you, so make sure you open up these emails and don't just delete them). In order to use this coupon, I had to get my total up to $25.00 BEFORE coupons. I bought:

2 bottles of Pantene shampoo (Normally $4.99...on sale for $2.99)
-minus coupon for $3.00 off Pantene shampoo when you buy 2
Final price: $2.98

2 bottles of Head and Shoulders Shampoo and Conditioner (Normally $5.99...on sale for $4.99)
-minus coupon for $1.00 off one bottle
-minus coupon for Buy Head and Shoulders Shampoo, get Conditioner FREE
Final price: $3.99

2 boxes of Tampax Pearl Tampons (36 ct. box--normally priced at $8.49...on sale for $7.99; 18 ct. box--priced at $5.19)
-minus coupon for $2.00 off any Tampax Pearl Tampons
-minus coupon for Buy one Tampax 36 ct. box, get one 18 ct. box FREE)
Final price: $5.99

PLUS I used the $5.00 off $25.00 coupon AND $4.00 in Extra Care Bucks that I had left over from last week.

I ended up spending $4.35 and saved $31.68!! PLUS I left with $7.00 in ECBs!!

How did you do this week?
