Another Walgreens Trip (April 28)

We are going camping this weekend, and my husband asked me if I'd go out and buy stuff to make s'mores. Of course, I went straight to my coupon binder, but couldn't find any coupons for those items. I was dreading going to Wal-Mart and spending probably around $6 - $8 for marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate. (When your grocery budget is tight, those extras can really take a bite out of it). Yesterday I went to Walgreens for jelly and was able to get several bags of items for less than the cost of one bottle of jelly at Wal-Mart, so I decided to see if I could do the same today...buy fixin's for S'mores for less. I started out the morning with $7 in register rewards. I bought everything pictured below, and spent...



$1.20!!

I had to do 4 different transactions to make this work. The cashier was so friendly and commented several times about what a smart way to shop. It's all about coupons and rolling your register rewards.
