I got a wonderful surprise in the mail today!! I don't know if you remember, but on Sunday I posted about being disappointed that the newspapers that I bought only had a SmartSource insert. Well, my wonderful sister-in-law read my post, and she sent me the three inserts that came in the Dallas newspaper!! If you are a true coupon shopper, you know that is like gold!!

What an amazing surprise. Thank you so very much Sarah!!!

  1. How kind of her! I went shopping at HEB and again had trouble with my internet coupons. They don't know why their machines accept some and others they deny. It is embarrassing! Have you had this problem? Way to go on only spending a dollar!

  2. Brittney,
I had the same problem at HEB today. I went in to buy the Digiorno pizza (get HEB pizza free), and the meal deal (buy sandwich meat and cheese...get other stuff free). They wouldn't accept my Digiorno coupon, but took my Oscar Mayer $2.00 coupon no problem. I rarely shop at HEB because of that...the cashier said that they never know which ones will scan. That is the first time that it's happened to me. How many coupons did you have that wouldn't scan?

  3. Oh, I'm so glad you got them! Your blog saves me so much time and money, I thought it was a fitting "thank you" of sorts. Plus, I thought there were some really good ones this week!

  4. Today I had two internet coupons, but there have been others previously that would not work either. Where do you get the bulk of your groceries?

  5. I had the same problem at HEB last week trying to use an internet coupon with an in-store coupon. Frustrating when you don't know what will work and what won't. The internet coupons have passed fine for me at the other stores (Target, Wal-mart, & Albertson's)for the most part.
