It wasn't a great coupon trip to Albertsons today, but I REALLY needed some more meat. I stocked up on a lot of meat in December, and have been waiting for some good sales to stock back up since then. I've been buying a little bit here and there, but wanted to find a good sale to fill my freezer back up. I bought everything pictured below, and spent...
$28.97 and saved $47.50.
I bought:
10 1.20 lb. containers of Ground Turkey (regularly priced at $2.79 each, on sale for $1.00 each)
Final Cost: $10.00 ($0.83/lb.)
4 lbs. of ground beef (regularly priced at $2.49/lb., on quick sale for $1.03/lb.)
Final Cost: $4.15
4 lbs. of pork chops (regularly priced at $1.99/lb., on quick sale for $1.20/lb.)
Final Cost: $4.80
2 boxes of Green Giant Rice and Broccoli (regularly priced at $2.19, on sale for $1)
-used 2 coupons for $0.50 off Green Giant Frozen Vegetables (found here)
-These coupons were doubled.
Final Cost: FREE
4 bags of Nabisco Snak Saks cookies: (regularly priced at $2.59, on sale for $1)
-used 2 coupons for $1.00 off 2 Nabisco cookies (found here)
Final Cost: $2.00 (or $0.50 each)
2 Fresh Express Bagged Salad (regularly priced at $1.99, on sale for $1)
Final Cost: $2.00
(I know the bagged salads/vegetables are more expensive...but sometimes the convenience is worth it to me. :)
1.82 lbs. of zucchini (regularly priced at $1.99/lb., on sale for $1.00/lb.)
Final Cost: $1.82
3.15 lbs. of Jazz Apples (on sale for $0.99/lb.)
Final Cost: $3.12
4 Packs of Ivory Bar Soap (3 pack) (regularly priced at $1.79, on sale for $1.00)
-used 4 coupons for $0.25 off any Ivory 3 pack or larger (found in newspaper)
-these were all tripled
Final Cost: $1.00 (or $0.25 each)
Final Cost for the entire trip was $28.97, and I saved $47.50. Like I said, it wasn't the greatest coupon trip, but I REALLY needed some more meat and some produce...and I saved 62%!!
