I went to HEB to use my last $10.00 catalina coupon yesterday, and I came across an AWESOME deal that some of you might be interested in.
The majority of HEB yellow in store coupons are manufacturer's coupons that you are not allowed to stack with a manufacturer's coupon from the newspaper/internet/etc. You can tell if they are manufacturer's coupons because in the bottom corner of the coupon is a small box that will have an M in it.
In HEB's coupon policy, it states that you are allowed to stack a manufacturer's coupon with a B (Big Savings) or S (Store) coupon. To be honest, it has been really rare to find any B or S coupons at HEB, but every now and then I'll find them.
There is a yellow B coupon at HEB right now that will get you a great deal on make-up.
-use HEB yellow B coupon for $3.00 off any Revlon Cosmetics
AND combine with:
-coupon for $2.00 off any Revlon Cosmetics (found in 5/8 SmartSource insert)
-OR $1.00 off any Revlon Nail Enamel (found in 4/10 SmartSource insert)
Revlon Nail Polish is priced at $3.88 at HEB...so FREE after coupon stack (Plus $0.12 overage)
Revlon Eye Shadow (singles) are priced at $3.98...so FREE after coupon stack (Plus $1.02 overage)
If you decide to do this deal, you will need other items in your cart to absorb the overage...perfect time to pick up items that you normally don't have coupons for...milk/produce/etc.
You might also want to have HEB's coupon policy handy. When I did the deal yesterday, the cashier told me that I couldn't use both of the coupons. I had to pull out the coupon policy and show her where it said that you can stack if it is a B coupon. She called a manager over, and he okayed it.
I LOVE better than FREE!!
Of course, there are additional make up products that you can get a great deal on when you stack the coupons. Look around and see what deals you can come up with. :)
