Thanks so much for doing these match-ups every week! Went to Albie's here in Angelo yesterday and noticed that there were 12 mangos in a box/crate. That would make them .33 each. Lowe's has them at the same price 3/$1 if, like my family, you couldn't eat all 12 quickly.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing! I noticed that Puffs were .88 and we have a .25/3 (that will triple) from PG 4/3, making them .63 each. What is your stock up price for tissue?

ReplyDeleteI usually try to stay under $0.50 a box for tissues. That being said, if you are just starting out and don't have a large stockpile, then $0.63 is a decent price. I've found that in the fall there are usually really great deals on cold medicines/tissue at CVS and Walgreens, so I try to stock up then for the entire year...buying around 15 boxes so I don't have to pay more later. Hope that helps.
