I ran to CVS this afternoon so I could take advantage of some of the new deals for this week. I bought everything pictured below and spent...
$1.44, and I left the store with $6.80 Extra Care Bucks...like being paid to shop!!
I started out this week with $6.00 Extra Care Bucks (from the Olay deal last week), and I did 3 different transactions. Here's how I did it, and you can too if you have the right coupons:
Transaction #1:
3 Right Guard Total Defense Deodorants ($2.99 each)
-used coupon for $1.50 off one Right Guard (found here)
-used coupon for $3.00 off two Right Guards (found here)
2 Xtra Laundry Detergents ($2.00 each)
-used CVS coupon for $2.00 off two (received at price scan machine)
Total: $6.47 (plus tax)...paid with $6.00 Extra Care Buck
Total Due: $0.60 and I received $6.00 Extra Care Buck ($2.00 for each Right Guard Deodorant I bought)
Transaction #2:
1 Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick $6.99
-used coupon for $2.00 off Revlon Lipstick (found here)
1 Schick Shaving Cream $2.79
-used coupon for $1.00 off Schick Shaving Cream (found in 8/8 SmartSource insert)
Total: $6.78 (plus tax)...paid with $6.00 Extra Care Buck from Transaction #1
Total Due: $0.84 and I received a $5.00 Extra Care Buck (from Revlon lipstick) and a $1.80 Extra Care Buck (from Schick Shaving Cream)
Transaction #3:
1 Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick $6.99
-used coupon for $2.00 off Revlon Lipstick (found here)
Total: $4.99...paid with $5.00 Extra Care Buck from Transaction #2
Total Due: $0.00 and I received a $5.00 Extra Care Buck (from Revlon Lipstick)
Total for all 3 transactions was $1.44, and I saved $38.17...PLUS I still have $6.80 Extra Care Bucks to spend on my next trip to CVS!
Once you learn how to shop the drugstores, you should be able to buy all of your toiletries for a fraction of the cost!
