Okay, I am now off to start packing for our night at the lake...it's just one night, but it seems like with a family of five it still takes a while to pack all the clothes, toiletries, and food that we will need. (Not to mention swimming gear...suits, floaties, sunscreen, towels, bug spray, etc.)

Hope all of you have a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend!! While you are relaxing and having fun with your family, please don't forget to take a moment to remember why we celebrate Memorial Day!!

It's the End of the Month, so Print Those Coupons!!

Just a reminder that it is the end of the month, and that means that a lot of the coupons that are available on online coupon sites will be replaced at the first of June. If there are coupons that you think you'll use on those sites, you should go ahead and print them now. There have been a TON of high value diaper and diaper wipes coupons this month, so if you haven't printed those off yet, I would encourage you to do so!! Coupons will typically reset at the first of each month. You might see some of the same coupons that are there now, but they will most likely have reset. That means that if you print them now and they reset, you'll be able to print them AGAIN once they reset!

If you want to check out the coupons that are available through the end of May, go to these sites:

Target Trip (May 28)

I ran to Target this morning to see if they had any good clearance deals. I bought everything pictured below, and spent...

$4.44, and saved $43.88!! I think that's a pretty good deal, but I also have $6.12 in Target gift cards, AND I will be submitting for the $10.00 Listerine Rebate that I mentioned in an earlier post...so once you add the gift cards and the rebate in, I am being paid $11.68 to take all items pictured above home!! In order to do this deal I had to break up my trip into 3 different transactions.

Transaction #1

2 Listerine Whitening Mouthwashes (Clearance priced to $1.98)
-used 2 coupons for $2.00 off Listerine Whitening Mouthwash (found here...use zip code 01364)
Final Price: FREE (plus $0.04 overage)

2 Venus Embrace Razors (Clearance priced to $4.24)
-used 2 coupons for $2.00 off Venus Embrace Razors (found in 5/2 Proctor and Gamble insert)
-used 1 coupon for FREE $5.00 Target Gift Card when you buy 2 Gillette or Venus Embrace Razors/Cartridges (found in 5/2 RedPlum insert)
Final Price: $4.48

Total for Transaction #2: $4.44 AND I received a $5.00 Gift Card.

Transaction #2 and #3: (I did these exactly the same)

2 Venus Embrace Razors (Clearance priced to $4.24)
-used 2 coupons for $2.00 off Venus Embrace Razors (found in 5/2 Proctor and Gamble insert)
-used 1 coupon for FREE $5.00 Gift Card when you buy 2 Gillette or Venus Embraze Razors/Cartridges (found in 5/2 RedPlum inisert)
Final Price: $4.44

I paid for Transactions 2 and 3 with the gift cards that I received in the previous transaction...no cash out of pocket.

I left Target only spending $4.44, and with $6.12 on Target Gift Cards! Target had a LOT of razors and Listerine Mouthwash on clearance when I went by there this morning. Check your coupons and see if you have any of the same ones that I used. The coupon for the Venus Embrace expires on Monday, and the coupon for the $5.00 Target Gift Card expires on Wednesday, so you might want to go ahead and use them now!!

GREAT Listerine Whitening Deal!!

I ran to Target this morning and saw that Target has a LOT of Listerine Mouthwash on sale for $1.98...a good deal by itself, but it gets even better. There are numerous coupons that have been out for these products in the Sunday newspaper and online.

Coupons.com has coupons for $1.00 off Listerine Products, and $2.00 off Listerine Whitening products. I suggest going here to print off the coupon for $2.00 off Listerine Whitening Mouthwash (use zip code 01364)...you'll be able to get the mouthwash for FREE!!

Wait, the deal gets even better...A LOT BETTER! There's a special rebate that is going on right now for Listerine Whitening and Rembrandt products. If you purchase select products you will receive a $10.00 prepaid debit card...so you'll be getting an item for FREE, and then sending in a rebate offer to receive an additional $10.00!! A pretty amazing deal if you ask me!! Keep in mind that this rebate is for the Listerine WHITENING. I went to Target this morning and they had a LOT of these on the endcaps in the toiletry section.

Below are the details about the rebate:

REBATE OFFER:

No Form Needed Rebate found in People Style Watch June/July issue,on page 104.

Proud Mom Moment

I'm not going to have much time to add new posts today. We spent the morning up at my boys' school attending their awards ceremony. I have to take a moment to brag on my two oldest children. They both received awards for earning straight A's all year long!! So proud of them. They are both such GREAT kids, and just want all of you (even if you don't know me) to know that I have some AMAZING kids!! :) Okay, I just had to share. :)

We will be heading out to the lake a little later this afternoon to kick start our summer. We'll be spending the night and probably a good part of tomorrow out there, so want you to know that I haven't forgotten about the blog...but family time is always a priority!! I'll be posting a few coupons and deals that I've found in the next few minutes, but don't be surprised if there are no additional posts until tomorrow evening. I will try to get the Walgreens and CVS ad/coupon match ups done sometime tomorrow.

Hope all of you have an amazing weekend. I love summertime!!
