Once again, please keep in mind that I am only writing about the BEST deals that I see, so please go through the ad and try to match up some of the deals with your own coupons...I might have overlooked something, or completely left something out that would work great for your family. Also, the coupons that I mention are for past issues of the newspaper, unless otherwise stated. Remember, Walgreens IS confusing when you first start shopping there...but if you hang in there, you'll get it and start saving BIG!! You need to watch your coupon to item ratio (all manufacturer's and register rewards count in your coupons...but Walgreens coupons (whether from the coupon book or the ad) do NOT count in this ratio!!)

CVS Ad/Coupon Match Up (April 11 - 17)
Looks like it is kind of a slow week at CVS, not a whole lot of GREAT deals, but still some pretty good ones. Remember, when I am matching these deals up that any coupons I mention using are from the newspaper unless otherwise stated. Beautiful Spring Day!!
I usually try to post new coupons or deals at least a couple times a day, but today was just too beautiful to spend inside. We spent the morning at the lake fishing...well attempting to fish, no one caught anything. :) Then this afternoon we took the kids to my in laws' lake house and they spent the afternoon slip and sliding with cousins and swimming in the lake...I am so glad that it is warming up...I'm definitely a summer girl!! We are cleaning up real quick and then heading out to eat supper with family.
Hope all of you have had an amazingly beautiful spring day!! I will try to post some deals tonight, but it might have to wait until tomorrow afternoon depending on how tired I am when we get home tonight!! Enjoy your weekend and this BEAUTIFUL weather!!

Newspaper Reminder
Don't forget to stop by and pick up a newspaper tomorrow!! I always buy at least 2, but usually 4. If you are wanting to start couponing seriously, then I would suggest buying at least 2 newspapers...that way when there is a buy one get one sale at our stores, you'll be able to use a coupon for each item you purchase. Remember, all stores will allow this (except for HEB).

More Swagbucks!!
Just wanted to remind all of you who are already members of Swagbucks (or those of you are thinking about joining), that there is an additional way to earn Swagbucks EVERY DAY besides just doing the internet searches. You can do this once a day, and win anywhere from 2 to 3 Swagbucks (at least that is what I am always awarded...you might get lucky and win more :) Here's what you do:
1. Go to the Swagbucks homepage here.
2. Click on the “Ways to Earn” tab at the top of the homepage.
3. Then click on "Special Offers"
4. Click where it says “View our no obligation offers and WIN Swag Bucks”...there's a small blue box that says "Go Now" that you should click on.
5. Scroll to the bottom of each page that comes up and hit the "Skip" or "See Next Offer" button. I have NEVER signed up for one of these offers...never filled in any of the information at all...simply scroll to the bottom of each page and hit "Skip"
6. After about 3 or 4 pages of doing this you will be awarded your Swagbucks.
Remember that you can do this EVERY DAY!! I'll try to remember and repost this a few times a week so you can get used to the idea of doing this and WINNING more Swagbucks!!
If you haven't signed up and you are interested click on the banner below (Remember that it is COMPLETELY free to join and you are never expected to sign up for anything!!)

MEGA SWAGBUCKS FRIDAY!!!
Just wanted to remind all of you who are signed up for Swagbucks that every Friday you have extra chances to win HIGH value Swagbucks just by searching the internet!! Earlier this morning I searched one of my friends's websites and earned 19 Swagbucks, and I just now checked Facebook and received another 30 Swagbucks...49 Swagbucks...WOOHOO!! I'm well on my way to earning enough for another Amazon gift card!!
For those of you who still haven't signed up for Swagbucks, I would really encourage you to do it!! You can earn prizes and gift cards JUST by going to internet sites that you always go to. I joined Swagbucks at the end of December, and since joining I have earned $60.00 in Amazon gift cards.
What is Swagbucks?
Swagbucks is a search engine (like google, yahoo, ask.com), except when you use the Swagbucks search engine, you have the opportunity to earn Swagbucks. You can then trade in the Swagbucks that you earn for different prizes...electronics, music, but my favorite is gift cards. The gift cards that I earn are going into my Amazon account, and I'm saving them up to help with Christmas this next year. I am hoping by then to have at least $100. Not a whole lot, but it is free money and it will definitely help stretch our Christmas budget.
I've had people tell me that they don't ever search online, so it won't work for them. Before I joined Swagbucks, I didn't search either. When I joined, I put the Swagbucks toolbar on my Internet Explorer toolbar. Now instead of typing in the web address where I used to, I simply "search" it through the Swagbucks search engine. Example, instead of typing in www.facebook.com, I simply search facebook through Swagbucks. No real difference, but when I do it this way I have the chance to earn Swagbucks.
I was very skeptical of this when I first started, so I didn't want to tell anyone about it. After doing it for 3 months, I am amazed at the fact that I am essentially earning free money just by going to different websites. I've told several family members and friends about this, and they are now earning Swagbucks too.
Swagbucks does offer more points if you sign up for different programs through them, but I have never done any of that. The Swagbucks that I've earned have come from simply searching the Internet. I thought some of you could benefit from "free money" too. It takes several days to get the hang of it, but if you are interested in trying it, simply click on the banner below to get started.
