FREE Tic Tacs at Target

I ran to Target this morning and wanted to let you know that I found Green Apple Tic Tacs on clearance for $0.72. (I found them on an endcap in the toiletry section.) If you use the coupon for $0.75 off Tic Tacs (found in 10/3 RedPlum insert) you'll get them for FREE!

Lowe's Ad

For those of you who have been reading this blog for a while, you know that I have never shopped at Lowe's. I do take the ad into Wal-Mart pretty regularly to price match certain items. Wal-Mart will price match other store ads...as long as it is for a dollar amount...no % off or Buy 1 Get 1 Free. They will also match a store brand product for Wal-Mart's store brand product.

Milk (gallon) $2.00
(Side note...I saw an ad for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area advertising milk for $0.99 a gallon. Sure would be nice! :)

Lowe's Sandwich White Bread $0.48
(This price is only good Friday the 22nd to Sunday the 24th.)

Red Ripe Tomatoes (4 pack) $0.99

Celery $0.69

Red Delicious Apples $0.78/lb.

Limes 12 for $1.00

Lemons 5 for $1.00

Grapefruit 3 for $0.99

Fresh Pineapple $2.00

Lettuce (Garden Fresh Romaine or Red/Green Leaf Lettuce) $0.98

Mini Peeled Carrots (1 lb. bag) $0.99

Grocery Shopping--October Week 3

I have to admit that I didn't do a whole lot of shopping this past week. I haven't been feeling the best, so I've been hanging around the house a lot. One of the GREAT things about stocking up on food when it is on sale is that you don't have a lot of grocery NEEDS each week. I focused this week on buying produce, eggs, and milk (plus a few freebies).

I bought everything pictured below and spent...

$17.46 and saved $21.35.

I bought:

15 cans of Contadina Tomato Sauce
4 Yakisoba Noodles
1 Fresh Express Strawberry Fields Salad Kit
1 Fresh Express Bagged Spinach
5 Vicks Cough Drops
2 Bumble Bee Tuna Pouches
Bananas (2 1/2 pounds)
White Seedless Grapes (2 pounds)
Strawberries (2 pounds)
2 gallons of Milk
3 dozen eggs
Apples (3 pounds)
3 Tomatoes
2 bottles of Gain Dish Soap

Totals for October:
Spent: $80.57
Saved: $345.60

How are you guys doing this month?
