Mail!!

How has your mail been looking lately? It seems like the last few days I've received more free samples and coupons than anything. I meant to take a picture of my mail today, but I got busy doing other things. The last week I've received:

-FREE magazines (Islands, Shape, Women's Health, OK, Martha Stewart Living..no I don't read all of these magazines, but I still signed up for FREE year subsciptions because a lot of times I'll find great coupons in them...it's costing me nothing to have these mailed to my house and I'm getting FREE coupons!)
-coupon for FREE Suave Shampoo
-coupon for FREE Red Gold Tomatoes (from emailing them)
-2 coupons for $0.50 off two Red Gold Tomatoes (from emailing them)
-2 coupons for $0.50 off any Dannon product (from emailing them)
-sample of Crystal Light mixes
-3 coupons for $2.00 off Crystal Light mixes
-sample of Playtex
-sample of Special K bars (with coupons)
-10 coupons for $2.00 off Pampers Wipes (I won a giveaway...got coupons that made for FREE wipes)

And the best...a check for $20.00 from Olay from a rebate...I only spent a couple of dollars after coupons, and received $20.00 for buying products that I already use!! A GREAT DEAL!!

End of the Month Coupon Reminder

Can you believe that tomorrow is the last day of June? This month has just flown by!! I wanted to remind you that at the end of the month, a lot of online coupon sites will replace or reset their coupons. That means that coupons that are available in June might not be available in July, or that coupons that are available now will be reset in July...which means that you'll be able to print up to two coupons through June, and reprint them two more times if they are reset in July. If there are some coupons that you are interested in printing, I'd spend a few minutes today or tomorrow printing them off.

CVS: Cheap Laundry Detergent

Just wanted to mention this great deal on laundry detergent. CVS has Xtra Laundry Detergent on sale 2 for $3.00 this week. There was a coupon for $1.00 off any size Xtra Laundry Detergent or Fabric Softener in the 6/6 SmartSource insert. That means you'll be able to get laundry detergent for $0.50...a definite GREAT deal. I've never used this laundry detergent, so I'm not sure what it's like. If you have a specific brand of laundry detergent that you use, you could still think about buying a bottle of this and donating it. I mean it's only $0.50...less than a candy bar at the register!!

One more thing, with a price this low I would not be surprised if this is out of stock. CVS is GREAT about giving rain checks...just go up to the cashier and tell her what you want a rain check for. She will fill out a small form and you'll be able to bring it in at a later date to receive the same sale price!

FREE Nivea Men's Body Wash

I wrote a post several days ago about possibly FREE Nivea Men's Body Wash at Wal-Mart. Several coupon websites had mentioned that Nivea Men's Body Wash was priced at $3.00. The last time I wrote about this deal the body wash was still priced at $3.97 at our local Wal-Mart. I wanted to let you know that it is now officially priced at $3.00 at the Wal-Mart on Sherwood Way. If you have any more coupons for $3.00 off Nivea Men's Body Wash (found in the 5/2 RedPlum) you'll be able to score FREE body wash. You'll need to hurry because this coupon expires on June 30th!

Wal-Mart Trip (June 28)

I ran to Wal-Mart today to pick up a few items. I got everything pictured below for...



FREE!! That's right...everything in the picture was completely FREE.

You can't really tell what all is in the picture. I bought:

17 bags of Purina Cat Food
13 containers of Pampers Diaper Wipes
1 bottle of Suave Shampoo
3 bottles of Nivea Men's Body Wash

All for FREE!! I also picked up a couple of loaves of bread and 9 small jars of tomato sauce that didn't make it into the picture. My grand total for everything was $1.12. I saved more than $75.00!!

Last week I didn't do much shopping...only going out for bread, milk, and fresh fruit and veggies. I have such a good stockpile of food that I didn't really need anything. I didn't see any really GREAT sales, so I decided to take a break from shopping. I have to admit that it felt good to go back into the store today and watch my total go down, down, down when the cashier was scanning my coupons!! I love saving money!!
